Kayla Jensen, DVM

Dr. Kayla Jensen graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine.
She grew up in Northern California and spent most of her childhood riding bareback through the rolling foothills of her parents’ and neighbors’ properties.
After most of her hometown of Paradise, California, burned down in the 2018 Camp Fire, she became passionate about veterinary disaster response. When she started veterinary school, she quickly became involved in the Student Veterinary Emergency Response Team, eventually serving as club president.
Dr. Jensen’s additional clinical interest area include emergency and critical care, surgery, and client education.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys backpacking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and hanging out with her husband and their two cats.
