Jessica Marcotte, Veterinary Assistant

Jessica joined Bend Equine in January 2023 and is usually found assisting Dr. Wendy Krebs. A lifelong animal lover, Jessica especially enjoys horses and grew up riding hunter-jumpers with her sister.

In her role as a veterinary assistant, she appreciates the process of helping uncover a diagnosis and setting patients on a path to healing. She has a special interest in equine sports medicine and rehabilitation, partly because she’s an athlete herself. She rides whenever she can, competes in triathlons, and spends the winter months cross-country and downhill skiing. She says she has “101 hobbies,” which also include jewelry making, restoring furniture, and traveling.
